TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -Alisha Morales has been a volunteer at Aiding Fingers Humane Culture since April, but her like and affection for animals begun way right before then.
“I grew up in Texas so I have generally experienced a whole lot of animals in my life and I have constantly been volunteering in Dallas when I was 18-years-aged, and I have been transferring all over the united states since then and I have generally uncovered that functioning with animals has been a huge hobby of mine,” claimed Morales.
She has 6 full animals and just not too long ago she noticed a dog who was brought into the shelter that she felt would make a fantastic addition to her relatives.
“I introduced in my Boxer, Charlotte to arrive and fulfill Susan who is a mixed breed, ideal know we feel she’s a Pitbull but we are waiting on a DNA examination, we adopted her due to the fact we thought she would in good shape in so properly with our family members, I have a few adopted cats, a chocolate lab who does education here and then my boxer and now her name is Sadie, it was Susan,” she reported.
Alisha is just a single of the quite a few volunteers that perform really hard to make absolutely sure every animal finds their excellent home, particularly for the duration of a time like this.
