ATHENS – A huge 2nd quarter by host Athens Academy put Providence Christian’s soccer crew in a gap it could not get out of in a 70-35 decline Friday at Athens Academy.

The Storm (1-3) had been tied 7-7 early and trailed only 15-13 soon after the initial quarter, but the Spartans outscored them 34-9 in the next quarter to seize manage by halftime.
